How to join

We have only ONE rule in XT.. play together. This means you must join the same side of a map as other XT members if you join a server and there is already another squadmate in there, than it is YOUR responsibility to get on the proper side. If you are the first XT member to join that server, then you set the side for the ones who join after you.

I know this can be difficult in a server that does not allow team switching, but it is required. If you get on TS we can help you get to the right side.

Recruitment - In order to uphold XT standards the following are the new guidelines governing potential new recruits:

To join the XT-squad you need to register above and do the following.

1. Recruits must start a new posting in the Join Us section of the forums with a new thread. The thread must contain your current JO Username, any other names you have gone by, any other clans you've been in, if you have ever been on watch or baned on any and all character names you have had and explain why.

2. New recruits will be told by XT-73Camaro to add the tags "XT-<yourname>-R" during their recruitment stage. This way XT members as well as others know right off that you are a new recruit of XT. Potential recruits will be watched by all XT members for a trial period. All XT are to watch this recruit when they are on and are to report on any negative activity seen i.e. playing against other XT members, cheating, hacking, glitching, bad attitudes, poor sportsmanship or any other activity that can be portrayed as negative toward XT. And any positive reports as well i.e ranking in top 10, willingness to support teammates, teamwork and things of this nature.

3. At the end of a reasonable trial period a decision will be posted and the recruit will be notified. XT-73Camaro will inform the new recruit if they are accepted and when to remove the -R from there name and that they are a full XT member. TeamSpeak IP and password are given upon request.

4. What constitutes a ban from the squad or rejection of application? Some reasons are Cheating, Hacking, Glitching, and Poor Sportsmanship, disrespecting a fellow XT member and playing against other XT members on the wrong team. (This is not only our single rule but it could look like you are trying to coop.) One Warning will be issued by the Person who spots the offense. Any XT member can warn a recruit they are doing wrong according to these guidelines.

5. XT inactivity for a long period of time without some form of explanation posted may result in removal from the squad. It?s a common courtesy to inform some one, plain and simple.

6. TEAM ISSUES- If you feel strongly about issues that you think should be addressed. PM XT-73Camaro about it. XT wishes to be fair and firm, but remember you can't please all the people all the time but you can please most of the people most of the time.

Here is what we need you to do now. Open the "Join the Squad" section and do the following.

Start a new thread titled with your current JO playername.

Please include your current JO screen name, any additional names you have gone by in the past, clans you have been in, servers you like to play on, favorite maps, who recruited you or directed you to us, weapons of choice, and anything else you want to tell us about yourself.

Even if you have already been given the ok to add XT- and -R to your name... please take the time to at least start a thread to introduce yourself to the rest of the squad.

TeamSpeak

Following is all the info you need as well as some tricks to make it easier to login to our TS.

Here is how you setup your TS to login to our server.

1) Open TS and Right click on the word Servers on the left and click "Add Server" and name it whatever you want to make it easy to recognize. Like XTSquad TS

2) Server info as follows.

Label: What you want.. I used KZrider

Server Address: 75.102.27.162:9001

Nickname: XT-YourName or XT-YourName-R

Check the box to "Allow server to assign a nickname"

Check "Anonymous"

Server Password: Leave blank"

No checkmark in "Auto-Reconnect"

Default Channel: Room you want to automatically start in.

Default Sub-Channel: Sub-Channel Room you want to automatically start in.

Channel Password: Givin to full members only.




Here is a screenie of how it should look.

OR.. click on the words X.T.Squad at the top of the TeamSpeak viewer displayed on the left side of this website and enter XT-YourNickname-R. Leave all settings as they are and leave the password blank.. it will be givin to you when you become a full member. You will enter into the Public Lounge.. someone will need to drag you up into the proper room until you are granted full membership status.
